Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate and captain of the Fierce Five in 2012 as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. Aly Raisman was a gymnast from the United States who won gold at the 2012 Olympics. She became an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. Gold medals she took home during the Olympics in 2016 was her second consecutive gold for the American team. This made her, along with fellow teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to accomplish this achievement. The silver medals she won came from the floor-based individual and all-around events. In the three years between her two Olympic Games, she took a break. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning American team at the two World Championships. Her favourite event is flooring exercise. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years old. Aly has a strong support for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. In the future, she hopes to build a career in fashion. It is also her dream to increase the length of her leotards and socks. Fierce is a novel she's writing, will be coming out in the year ahead.
